Platform Overview.
Supplements, medical consumables and wellness products are among the most heavily regulated goods we handle, and the rules change at every border — what sells as a supplement in one market is a licensed medicine in the next. FMC distributes them through that patchwork with documented classification and batch control.
We work only with manufacturers that hold current GMP and quality credentials, and we classify each product against the destination regime before it is offered, not after a regulator queries it.
Operating Layer.
Batch and expiry data is captured at intake and follows the goods to dispatch, so stock leaves on a first-expiry-first-out basis and nothing ages quietly at the back of a rack.
Manufacturer qualification turns on the paper trail — GMP certificates, certificates of analysis, free-sale documents — and a producer is suspended the moment a credential lapses, not at the next review.
Temperature-sensitive lines are held within their stated range and segregated from general stock, with returns quarantined until their condition is verified.
Control & Compliance.
The difference between a wellness product and a medicine is a line on a form; we read it before shipping.
Each product is mapped to its regulatory category in the receiving market, so a borderline item is licensed correctly rather than detained as an unapproved medicine.
Certificates of analysis are matched to the physical batch on arrival, and any mismatch holds the lot before it can enter saleable stock.
Systems Infrastructure.
Batch genealogy is held end to end, so a manufacturer recall resolves to the exact lots, locations and customers involved within minutes.
Product registrations and certificate expiry dates are tracked centrally, prompting renewal before a lapse can quietly take a line out of compliance.
