Technology & Speciality Equipment
Platform Overview.
Precision instruments, laboratory and test equipment, and specialised electronics carry dependencies an ordinary shipment does not: dual-use export classifications, calibration that a rough journey can void, and components governments restrict by destination. FMC moves technology and speciality equipment with those constraints handled in advance.
We source advanced systems from manufacturers we have qualified, and we screen each shipment’s end use and destination before it is booked — because an export-controlled item sent to the wrong market is a compliance failure, not a freight problem.

Operating Layer.
Sensitive instruments travel with shock and tilt monitors and are re-verified on arrival, so a unit that took a knock in transit is caught before it is installed rather than after it returns bad readings.
Suppliers are assessed on calibration traceability and firmware support as much as on the hardware, because a measurement device is only worth its last valid calibration certificate.
Export classification is settled at booking — dual-use coding, licences, end-user checks — so a restricted item never reaches a port without the authorisation it needs.
Control & Compliance.
A misfiled export classification is the kind of error that ends with a regulator, not a refund.
Dual-use and end-user screening runs against current control lists before a shipment is confirmed, and a flagged consignment is held until the licence position is clear.
Calibration certificates and conformity documents are matched to each unit, so the equipment lands ready to qualify rather than waiting on paperwork.
Systems Infrastructure.
Each unit’s serial number is tied to its calibration history, firmware revision and export classification, retrievable whenever a customer or an auditor needs the record.
Licence conditions and control-list changes are tracked centrally, so a product that becomes restricted is flagged before the next shipment, not after it has cleared.
Where this equipment goes is a compliance decision before it is a freight one.
We settle the classification before the crate moves.
